We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy (“Policy”). This Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide (“Personal Information”) when using the Clipper website and services (“Website” or “Service”), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

This Policy is a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you” or “your”) and Clipper, Inc. (“Clipper”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing or using the Website and Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy.

This Policy applies only to information collected through the Website and Services and does not apply to third-party websites, services, or platforms that we do not own or control.

Automatic collection of information

When you access the Website, our servers may automatically collect certain information sent by your browser or device. This information may include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, language preferences, access times, referring URLs, pages visited, and usage statistics.

This information is collected for security, analytics, and service improvement purposes only and is not used to personally identify individual users unless required for fraud prevention or legal compliance.

Collection of personal information

You may access and use parts of the Website without providing Personal Information. However, to use certain features of the Service, we may collect Personal Information, including but not limited to:

Account information (such as email address, user ID, authentication tokens)

Contact information (such as email address)

TikTok account identifiers required for publishing

Uploaded content metadata (such as video files, captions, and scheduling data)

API usage data and logs

Technical and diagnostic data related to API usage

We collect Personal Information only when it is necessary to provide the Service.

You may choose not to provide Personal Information, but this may limit your ability to use certain features of the Service.

TikTok OAuth and third-party platforms

Clipper allows users to publish videos to TikTok using TikTok’s official APIs. To enable this functionality, users must connect their TikTok account using TikTok’s OAuth authorization flow.

We do not collect or store TikTok passwords.

We store only access tokens provided by TikTok.

Access can be revoked at any time via TikTok account settings.

Your interaction with TikTok is subject to TikTok’s own terms and privacy policies.

Data shared with TikTok

To provide the core functionality of the Service, Clipper may share limited data with TikTok strictly as required to publish and manage content on your behalf through TikTok’s official APIs.

This data may include uploaded video files, captions, scheduling information, basic account identifiers required by TikTok, and technical metadata necessary to complete publishing operations.

Clipper does not share any additional personal data with TikTok beyond what is strictly necessary to perform the requested publishing actions.

Purpose limitation and use of TikTok data

All TikTok-related data is used solely for the explicit, user-initiated functionality of publishing and managing content on TikTok through the Service.

We do not use TikTok data for advertising, marketing, profiling, behavioral analysis, resale, or any secondary purposes unrelated to the operation of the Service.

Clipper does not combine TikTok data with third-party data sources for tracking or advertising purposes.

Revoking TikTok access

You may revoke Clipper’s access to your TikTok account at any time by disconnecting the application through your TikTok account settings.

Upon revocation, Clipper will no longer be able to publish or manage content on your behalf, and any stored access tokens will be invalidated.

Revoking access does not affect content already published to TikTok.
